This island is geographically the center of
the Galapagos and is the second largest island.
Here we find the Charles Darwin Research Station
which breeds and nurses the almost extinct giant
tortoises and other animals.
The rules governing the limited number of tourists
who visit the Galapagos are very strict.
Everyone must be accompanied by a guide who has
a professional education.
We were given an order not to touch the animals
nor the plants and even to shake the sand from
the soles of our feet.
We had the pleasure of taking our memory only
.
